The storm was really very strange. We were expecting it to hit Friday evening and become really strong on Saturday and pass by Sunday. That didn't happen, on Friday evening we got some wind and a little bit of rain, everyone had brought in the furniture and anything that could be blown around by the winds, the typical things you do to prepare for a storm. Then we went to bed with relatively mild but dark conditions. Saturday morning came around and it was bright and sunny the entire day, to the extent that we went swimming at the beach and got burnt a bit by the sun.

Even Saturday night everything was still pretty calm, then Sunday morning was the same. I wish I could find a picture of the radar for Saturday. It was as if some force was stopping the eye of the storm from moving west and the rest of the storm just kept going, at one point it looked kind of like the storm was going to completely circle St. Kitts.

Since Sunday we've been having rain all day, now it's just cloudy but I'm expecting rain, and it's not nearly as windy as before. I have some video of the absolutely incredible lightning we had but you can't see the forks, just flashes. Seems the camera had some trouble with flashes. Haven't decided if I'll post them on youtube just yet.
