A wandering monster, but digital now.

Heroquest is getting a digital version. Not entirely sure what that means to be honest but brings back a lot of memories, that's for sure.

I've been watching Invincible recently. It sparked my interest because of OmniMan more than anything else.
Amazon pulled an amazon and went kind of woke with it, with some flamboyantly gay stuff just for the sake of being gay and a couple race swaps but if you look past the changes the show isn't that bad. It's a basic teen drama / teen coming of age comic book with super heroes flying around as a norm in the background.

The art style is pretty basic and really bad in some places where they suddenly throw in low resolution cg characters near the end for some reason. Not sure why exactly, but have a feeling it ran out of money or something.

It starts with a after the credits thing with a lot of gore, was kind of surprising. There's gore throughout the rest of the season, but not like later on in season one. Just, wow. And almost as if they're doing just for the shock of it more than anything.

I recommend season one, but with the way it ends, I'm not sure I'll bother with season two. Again, OmniMan is the most interesting part of the show, Invincible and the teen drama stuff is just tiring. And it makes you wonder who the show is supposed to target. Adults, most adults anyway, won't care for it, but the fights are just so gore filled that it can't be for kids.

Was anyone a fan of the old Suikoden games? I'm pretty sure Johnny was. This is made by the original developers from konami, who is not making anything but "survive" games now but I digress.

The battle system, in particular the camera in the battle system looks very interesting.

Still a kick starter but check it out.

A reality tv game show about cosplayers? I know a lot of guys who would watch this just to see the girls in skimpy outfits.

Now, I loved No More Heroes, but No More Heroes 2 is like OMGWTFGIMMENOW.

Nice.

Reminds me of Adventure Island.

this looks like a mix between the legend of zelda and another NES game. The level design from Legend of Zelda while the character from another NES game, i just can't remember the name of it right now.

The basic story is that a king decides his land shall become 3D but the process is stopped at some point before completion resulting in the look of the movie below. while the graphic style is interesting i can't help but feel like it's legend of zelda. and i'm not alone. if you a fan of the original, you'll notice a couple of locations, especially the dungeons, look remarkably like Legend of Zelda. Even the village looks like it's out of Link's Adventure.

Worth 4 billion dollars, Disney has bought Marvel.

i'm curious what the comic book readers here think about this. i don't think disney is interested in the comic book side of it, but more than likely want the movie rights, animation rights and production rights for the toys.

Super Punch has been collecting some of the Mash-ups (mixing disney with marvel characters) below are some of the ones i like.
