I think my videos are getting better personally. I'd like to move away from the gopro app though, use something that's as easy but with templates and music recognition to move from scene to scene during the beat. Oh, and it has to be on PC. I love my phone but these things are not made for video editing, no matter what anyone says.

I'm really enjoying making these. The more I play with the program, the more Iike it. Still can't get any views though.

I started a new youtube channel. Essentially, I had a GoPro Hero 4 with about 3TB of footag on it, mostly kiteboarding stuff, but didn't do much with it because editing the footage was a pain. The new GoPro and app is a million times better. Everything done on the phone and though super basic allows me to create videos much more easily and even share them directly from the phone. It's really great.

The difference between the 4 and 12 is amazing too. Stabilization, horizon tracking, picture quality, interchangeable lenses. Heads and tails over the old stuff. And not expensive either.

That hard drive died by the way, but I don't feel much loss for it cause the footage was kind of bad compared to this.

Sorry for the lack of posting, we've been on a family vacation and just came back last week. I've been trying to catch up with work.
We flew to Florida, stayed in Fort Lauderdale, visited friends in the Keys and then drove back to Fort Lauderdale. After that we flew to Dominican Republic and did the following:

It was quite the trip and we tried to fit in a lot. Stayed at some fantastic spots and I got to kite in the Mecca of kiteboarding in the Caribbean. Even though the wind was "bad", it was still better than most good days in other places I've kited. Felt good to get out on the water again, I haven't been able to for quite a while and being able to do it there was really something.

We had a great time, saw a lot, highly suggest it especially if you want to see some pristine beaches. El Valle is a stunning beach, and I think we went to the nature reserve in Playa de los cocos, but it's hard to find on a map so I could be wrong.

Then back to Florida, which gave me a sigh of relief. I liked Dominican but felt the rental company was going to try and screw me any way they could so I was happy to give back the car. Driving in Dominican is a story on its own too.

In Florida, we also drove quite a bit. Went as far north as Fort Pierce or there abouts to a research center for manatees.

I think Leo really enjoyed the entire thing. Everywhere we went he kept saying "boats" or "planes" cause they were everywhere in both places.

Will hopefully get back to posting interesting stuff soon.

It didn't take very long, and the footage was pretty standard stuff, no real tricks or very big air until near the end of the video. But I'd do it all again in a heart beat.

This is more for myself than for anyone else. The Joker blew out yesterday when I was pumping it up...

So this is kinda what it looks like for me when I go haha.
