Games to play: Rainworld

I just picked this up on steam for like 8US but wish I could of found it on switch. Seems like a much better fit for the game.

Movies to watch: Nobody

I think I already got my hands on it, but haven't had a chance to see it yet.
It's got Christopher Lloyd in it, so that's always a plus.

Supposedly in the vain of John Wick, though I don't know about that. We'll see.

Actraiser - Renaissance - Launch Trailer Nintendo Switch

I've always heard fantastic things about the original on SNES. Way ahead of it's time. Solid game. Great launch title. Building sim and side scroller action game.

Never got a chance to play it though. I should install it on my snes classic and see what it's all about.

Apparently the second one ditched the building mechanics and stuck to the side scroller action adventure. Also a good game but lacking because of the building portion being pulled.

I bet you this is Square testing the water to see if a new Actraiser game would sell. Be interesting to see if it works.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits Trailer

From what I've read online, this is the closest thing to a dark Zelda there is. And not over the top swearing and violence, no more like cute and charming but dark story.

I wish this was on steam, but it's not like I don't have an Epic Games store account for all those free free games they offer.

Windbound Game trailer

Anyone have a switch? Anyone with a switch looking for a Zelda Breath of the Wild type game?

This to me feels very much like Breath of the wild, I just don't think it will incorporate all the depth in the lore that Zelda offered. Almost feels like it might even be the same engine.

Anyone up for some Dragon Ball?

It's a 5 minute cliffnotes of dragon ball z: freiza saga. Live action for better effects of course, and this is by far the best live action dragon ball I've ever seen.

Got to love me some Mega 64.

I don't think they screamed enough to be quite honest.

Live action Majora's Mask

Majora's Mask is one of my most favourite games ever, let alone for the N64. It had such an adult oriented (and depressing) story, it had great game mechanics and pushed the boundaries for the Zelda franchise. Newer Zelda games can learn a thing or two about it.

Yet, it's one least liked in the franchise for some odd reason.

Anyway, for any Major's Mask lover out there, you'll love this live action telling of the story before Link comes to Termina.

Very well done.

Surprisingly good Dragon Ball Z fan made video

I never saw the live action movie that is supposed to be absolutely horrid. I did watch some of the original animated series, and despite the amount of wasted time in the show, it was one of the best animes I've watched.

Check out this video some fans of the anime made. It's surprisingly good.

Halo 4: forward unto Dawn Dawn

This is the first episode of a six part live action Halo promotion. It's suppose to lead up to the beginning of the game and give some back story, really well made.

Macbook Pro 2.4 ghz GPU failure and replacement

christophe, something interesting.
It would appear that the model of macbook pro's that we have has a defect where the GPU can malfunction or die. So this would be another reason for you to get a replacement.
I think mine has already shown issues of this happening.

Symptoms
In July 2008, NVIDIA publicly acknowledged a higher than normal failure rate for some of their graphics processors due to a packaging defect. At that same time, NVIDIA assured Apple that Mac computers with these graphics processors were not affected. However, after an Apple-led investigation, Apple has determined that some MacBook Pro computers with the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor may be affected. If the NVIDIA graphics processor in your MacBook Pro has failed, or fails within four years of the original date of purchase, a repair will be done free of charge, even if your MacBook Pro is out of warranty.

Check out this Apple Knowledge Base for more info.
