pod cast thing? no bandwidth for that. but would be nice to record some of our convos about games. mind you, at this point, everyone and their dog does it as well.

I've half heartedly been thinking about getting a new phone so I've been looking at anything that makes me go "wow" and haven't seen much of a reason to get away from my LG G8. The G8 is just such a powerful and wonderful phone, the only thing I wish it had was a better camera, though the cameras are actually really decent for the time and even stand up to most cell phone cameras today. They just can't compete with the new iphone and galaxy phones but I knew that going in.

I'm also looking to get lineage os or at least get away from apple and google as much as possible.

On the "hmm, that's kind of cool" front, we have the Nothing Phone 1.

seems like a regular phone with transparent case and leds in the housing. Pretty snazzy, but still not enough for me to switch.

More interesting is the LightPhone

This is a dumb smart phone. Adam Curry was sent on (No Agenda podcast, go check it out right now) and he fell in love with it. He's a big time privacy guy and was running lineage os for god knows how long. Don't know why he switched back to regular android. This thing actually seems pretty interesting and if it was 50 - 100 bucks I'd of picked one up by now, but at 299 or whatever for the old model.That's a no for me.
