makes a lot of sense. i loved facebook at first, I thought it was the best invention ever & would make keeping in touch with others so much easier. eventually though, it's like the opposite happened - you see people posting every day, so you never really feel like you need to check up on things. makes you almost want to go back to the pre-facebook days.

having said that, it's pretty much a lost cause. everyone is on the damn site (even alex finally caved :P) & a lot of 'actual' socializing ends up originating from the site - so by not being active on facebook you end up missing out on things as well.. even with all the crap going on with wikileaks/data logging/spying, no one seems to giving a crap & keep using these sites. i try not to post any actual content on facebook (i'm more active on twitter)

I don't use facebook. I have an account i created a few years ago, but have logged in maybe 5 or 6 times and pretty much haven`t given them any info. I find that google+ is better, you can use for other things than just following friends. I have a bunch of photographers i follow and my feed is always full of really nice pictures.
