Montreal vs Philly

Who saw the game last night. i didn't see it, though i'm happy we won in regulation, but have heard some pretty bad things about the mediocrity of the game itself. both sides playing defensively all night. and philly once again playing dirty.

saw laraque in a fight, kinda surprising since you don't see that every game though he was brought in to be the enforcer.

so how did they play? as bad as everyone says?
i saw a paper today saying camellari was on a hot streak, 8 goals in 9 games could be considered i suppose :)

People don't understand what happened last night. Habs were pretty efficient in containing the Flyers from exploding. And the Flyers were absolute crap and are just spiraling some more. I mean they were demolished Saturday 8-1 or something like that thanks to that idiot Carcillo giving the Caps a 9 minute powerplay (they scored 3 times). New coach has a lot of work to do.

Philly wasn't even playing dirty... I mean D'Agostini destroyed Hartnell with an open ice hit (cleanest, hardest hit I've ever seen a Hab give a Flyer in a long time) and Hartnell got up looking around with no idea what to do about it. About the only dirty thing they did was slash Price a bit after he made some saves... But the Flyers were so bad that Price was playing pass-n-catch with them 3 or 4 times in a row and they still couldn't muster an effort. They had one good scoring chance from the slot and Price just gobbled it in his gut.

Pronger? Pacioretty faced him all night and still managed to get around him. I was glad he didn't throw an elbow at the kid like he was doing last year. (Maybe 'cause he'll definitely be suspended this year).

Hammer blocked as many shots as Brian Boucher made saves...

About the only Flyer who looked like he cared to try was Brierererererere.

Lapierre's toe-curl to Cammy was awesome though. But Boucher was so bad, AK46 fanned on his shot and knuckleballed it into the net. That's how bad their goalie was.

that was the best thing i've seen lapierre do this season. i think the next thing in the list was go after a guy that hit bergeron his first game as a hab

And the pain continues in Philly: Ray Emery has an abdominal tear, needs surgery...

Not that he was doing any good lately while playing anyway.
