Lair for wii

at 15:31 - 4th, February 2009

as most know lair was ps3 exclusive with crappy flight controls.
the devs, factor 5 (use to make rogue squadron and some other star wars games mainly for nintendo) were supposedly rumored to be working on an update to the kid icarus series for wii.
factor 5 i think went bankrupt though or at least in some kind of financial trouble.

at any rate, i found this at

also, this has been lurking around the internet, it's a possible look for pit in the new game, not a very good look for him i would say.

the lair engine is rumored to have been made from the get go to be downgraded for the wii if need ever arose. would make a good addition to a realistic kid icarus game.

I think the essential theme they are missing is KID Icarus. Not Teenage Icarus

it's a good point. but if they really wanted to they would find a way around that

I'm glad this never came to fruition, to be honest. If it was like the Kid Icarus in Brawl, and a sidescroller like it's meant to be, then I'd be on board.

I'm not big on this hyper-realism phase, which is why things like WoW are still so appealing to me.

hyper-realism just doesn't suit the wii. it can do so many better things with a chibi or even cel shadded look

it did do a fantastic job with godfather, though that's hardly hyper-realistic.
