not so much trance as it is catchy and like a pop version of one of theStars songs (your ex-lover is dead). which i think would be a great song for curt's monday music.

I love Ocean Lab, the beats, the voice, just great. I've posted a couple of other things here by Ocean Lab but I wanted to bring this to the front light because they recently made a remix album. this is one of the tracks.

It's been a while since i saw anything to do with Kylie Minogue. she is rather sexy and i do like a lot of her music, but not because she's sexy.
Matt Zo is incredible with remix's, and when you listen to the original you know that this version is definitely trance, or at least a proper remix. Not like those "remixes" you hear on the radio.

This is above and beyond's Electric Daisy Carnival Los Angeles California show. 60000+ people went to this, the party must of been absolutely insane. it was recorded by sirius xm and this version isn't the full intro but it is a rather nice mashup of everything. check it out.
i'll try to find other versions or even rerecord one myself and post it on youtube.
And now for the show stopper. This is the live set of Angel C. Who's Angel C you ask? Just some DJ, i've found a couple of them under this alias so it's hard to tell which one he is. Anyway, the reason i posted his liveset (freely distributed here) is because he uses a lot of music I like, the set is relatively shorter than the 3-5 hour sets at the bigger parties and thus smaller so easier to stream like this.

It's a big day, we've hit 50! normally I'd do something special but i figure i'll save it for #52 (one year anniversary).
This is something a little older, from around 2006 and it's a great track from Gabriel & Dresden. the video is typical of the type of music and time. hypnotic and still fun. hypnotic in the sense that the cars driving on roads in either full speed or sped up. when you go to the big parties you'll normally have something like that on the big screens. fun in the respect that the people in the video seem to be having fun and they're fun to watch.
oh, can't forget nostalgic during the slower parts.
