that was positive?
he said he'd rather nail his tongue to a moving subway car...
i agree with him on the core gameplay and graphics but the sound was good and the story easy to follow. the cliffhanger at the end was kind of upse
And now for the show stopper. This is the live set of Angel C. Who's Angel C you ask? Just some DJ, i've found a couple of them under this alias so it's hard to tell which one he is. Anyway, the reason i posted his liveset (freely distributed here) is because he uses a lot of music I like, the set is relatively shorter than the 3-5 hour sets at the bigger parties and thus smaller so easier to stream like this.
Yes, stream.
enjoy, and happy birthday! :D

They're nice but...history hasn't been made yet.
I guess I got the ol' ...
holy cow that lapierre goal almost makes up for the shitty season he had. almost.
hall gill out, georges and subban pull up their socks. did an excellent job. spacek back, scored a great goal but aside from that was just ok.halak looked shaky in the 2nd.

Subban yes.
Weber maybe (well, he'd be my pick for Bergeron's spot).
Carle...
Montreal wins one in Pittsburgh against the penguins.
the game was a typical Jacques Martin game. get ahead by one and try to get all the players in front of the net to block the shots.
surprisingly, it worked. and what\'s more is that cammy scored two goals. the second was after the 1 goal lead.
Gil played great and got a couple of boos from his old fans when he took care of Crosby a couple of times.
Moore... more is just fun to watch and i think he brings lapierre back to his old self. they really compliment each other well.
my only gripe about the game was there was no coach\'s corner. i guess it was too early to wake up don cherry. made up for it with good company though. dan, jay, Christophe and vikie all screaming at the TV when something happened. nice to not be alone with these things any more.
then watched the Detroit - San Jose game which had so much more physical and much faster. with the way the west is playing i really think someone from there will win it.
jay dan and i were talking about this yesterday. 2 outcomes i\'d love to see:
1. detroit wins and goes on to play the hawks. detroit wins and hossa loses to his old team
2. hawks make it to the finals and lose to the east. hossa loses in the finals again
would be so funny.
it\'s too bad dan won\'t be here for world cup. i think he\'d be great fun to watch the world\'s game with

detroit hockey town?
alright, but then we're the mecca of hockey
i can't believe it. it seems impossible. came back from a 3-1 deficit in the series they beat the best team in the league. and the game winning goal in game 7 by lapierre and moore was just incredible.
WOOO!

vancouver is so annoying, every time luongo touches the puck everyone is chanting LUUUU
what a slow boring game. muller and metropolit said it best during their interviews on RDS, they were playing a relaxed game. montreal was absolutely fierce when it came to the rangers' zone though. was fantastic to see them fight for the puck and win most of the time. get a shot or two and go after the puck again. then clamp down on the rangers as they went the other way down the ice.
halak was lucky, as is typical. didn't face anything really threatening from my point of view.
i loved the reaction between metropolit and markov when they scored the first goal though.
gomez wins the face off back to markov.
markov shoots the puck at the net
metropolit deflects it (intentionally?) and it goes in. beautiful
metropolit turns to markov with a huge smile on his face, hands in the air in celebration and then points to markov who points back at him.
just funny.
oh, i HATE Sean Avery. 7 seconds left he slashes gomez behind the play. WTF?! gomez never even had the puck to begin with. ref's are getting smarter though. through him out the game.
meanwhile the crowd in NY is cheering 'AVERY! AVERY!'
are they retarded? and to make things worse, RDS before the game interviewed Gomez and asked specifically about avery. he said he's a tricky player, someone almost to be admired for the emotion he plays with when the going gets tough.
i'm on Don Cherry's side, through him out the NHL.

The whole losing another great/promising player because of petty stupidity/poor management...
Big win last Saturday against the bruins.
1st period, awesome sauce. everyone played like they wanted it, like the could taste it.
2nd period, less sauce still awesome.
3rd period, picked up the socks and kept at it.
3 complaints,
jaro is one lucky fucker. some of his big saves we're so much big saves as they were he happened to be there by chance type of moments. some can argue that that's part of being a goalie, knowing where to be and when to be there. but RDS was going on about a 'big save' he made where he got a good piece of the puck. we wasn't in position, his shirt sleeve did the blocking for him, not pads, not arm, shirt sleeve.
2. sergei is good, and scores nice goals, but this game he was lucky. once again being in the right place at the right time. same argument from above can be used here though there's no real defence against it this time.
3. bruins? what bruins? where were they most of the night? has savard injury really crippled them so?

Realistically I think the playoffs are doable if they continue to play team games like the...
Montreal played Tampa last night here in Montreal. generally speaking Tampa was not there most of the game.
i still would of like to have seen price in net but the team just seems to want to play when halak is in. it's like he's a hero on the team and his very presence on the ice gives the players a +2 to their want to play.
Gomez with 3 points (i think RDS said he has 7 points in his last 3 games, must be more than that by now)
Metropolit with a goal and assist
Darche with 2 goals.

during the game yesterday ovechkin knocked gill off his feet and into price who then slid into the net. the goal was called off but there's been a lot of debate about it.
here's the video of the event.
the reason the goal was disallowed was because ovechkin interferred with price. nhl network actually explained it really well compared to rds who said the goal should of been allowed.
nhl said that because ovechkin did not go for the puck but that he went straight for gill (and with the intention to knock him onto price) that the goal didn't count. the reason why he didn't get a penalty is because gill had the puck between his legs so technically he checked a player with the puck, which is allowed.
surprising thing about the call is the refs never went to a replay.
but i've lost respect for ovechkin for the play, not that i had much for him to begin with anyway.
other news from the game...
Price played a fantastic game, he seemed a little shaky through the whole ordeal but it's nice to see him show some emotion on the ice (when the last goal went in he looked like he was going to break his stick)
Georges was hit in the head with a slapshot from Green, here's the video.
was a scary moment, especially with all the players on the ice around him. i think that's when you can tell it's bad. news is that he's ok, but nothing more concrete about him yet.
on the whole though, the game was fantastic. lots of scoring despite the relatively slow gameplay. and the goals, on both ends were beautiful.

but generally higgins is a ~20 goal scorer, not bad
so far he's truly underperform...
Montreal wins 3 - 2 without going into overtime. and from what i understand, scoring all goals on even strength. what WHAT?! even strength goals?! unheard of!
i missed the game, watched highlights and saw the typical halak problems, the typical encouraging gomez and gionta play but no scoring, saw pouliot go to the net and push, saw darshe push his way to the puck and actually get it ( a lot of other canadiens don't do this) and i saw DAGS actually play like he wanted it.
sergei scored as well. missed the other two goals though.
didn't see the vancouver goals at all though.
phaneuf in his first fight as a mapple leaf, reminded me of komisarek burning down all his habs bridges during the first game of the season. just seem to be trying too hard. giguere seems to have stolen the show though. i wonder if he could be a bright light for toronto, i don't think the other acquisitions will change the team too much.
boston lost, nice :D
but the habs are still ahead of most of the pack in games played, how is this possible? i'm sure it'll come back to bite us in the ass later on.

Also Mike Brodeur (no relation) is probably in nets for Ottawa and he's frustratingly goo...
Does anyone remember when the Dallas Stars used to be the Minnesota North Stars?
anyway, good game last night. 5 - 3 victory over the stars.
highlight of the game:
Price making good in the third period. he had a couple good saves before that but the first two goals he should of gotten.
Is it me, or is metropolit either not playing with the ferocity he used to play with or is it that everyone else is finally matching his ferocity? i still love the guy and it makes me happy to see him on the ice.
laraque is still overrated but he finally put one in the net last night and made a nice hit without getting a penalty
camelleri, just wow.
gionta two goals, was hoping he'd get an empty netter too. do you think they keep all the hats or they just toss them?
pouillot with a goal and an assist. great trade.
next game is saturday against the Senators. both montreal and ottawa are tied in the standings in point, wins and losses i believe.
who do you think will be in net? i'm hoping price, i still think he's the better goalie.

Alan wake is one of the few titles for the 360 that actually interests me. check out this video, the lighting looks fantastic. supposedly it's coming out on PC as well, which is a reason i haven't bought a 360 yet. the games keep coming out on PC.

No he was called up last night. He's playing tomorrow.
didn't see most of this game either. didn't even know about this one till i sat down in the scores to eat with my family.
saw the first atlanta goal and the 2 montreal goals after that, as well as the 2 atlanta goal in the beginning of the third thanks to replays.
no idea how they played though.
a win is a win?

It was a sloppy game but hey a win's a win. Best thing to cure what ails ya: the Islander...
markov back, first shut out for either of the hab's goalies, and we win.
meanwhile, toronto is one game up on us and 2 points behind. so either the habs are doing worse since the beginning of the season or the leafs are doing better.
stupid no cable by brothers...

emery hasn't had a good season since he brought the sens to the finals
Who saw the game last night. i didn't see it, though i'm happy we won in regulation, but have heard some pretty bad things about the mediocrity of the game itself. both sides playing defensively all night. and philly once again playing dirty.
saw laraque in a fight, kinda surprising since you don't see that every game though he was brought in to be the enforcer.
so how did they play? as bad as everyone says?
i saw a paper today saying camellari was on a hot streak, 8 goals in 9 games could be considered i suppose :)
