I love Ocean Lab, the beats, the voice, just great. I've posted a couple of other things here by Ocean Lab but I wanted to bring this to the front light because they recently made a remix album. this is one of the tracks.

This is above and beyond's Electric Daisy Carnival Los Angeles California show. 60000+ people went to this, the party must of been absolutely insane. it was recorded by sirius xm and this version isn't the full intro but it is a rather nice mashup of everything. check it out.
i'll try to find other versions or even rerecord one myself and post it on youtube.

It was the closing song to Trance Around the world 300 in Moscow. Daniel Kandi played an excellent set of pure trance bliss. people should really check it out.
i will be redoing this a little later, just haven't had much time in front my mac at home to make videos. i think i'm going to start using final cut as well. will need to get my hands on that...

Sorry bout the tardiness of this. had a lot of personal stuff to take care of on thursday/friday and stopped me from posting.

with the party almost in front of our faces thought i would incorporate a live set of something. the difference is a little more personal depending on the dj. in this case you'll find he gets the crowd going (and me) by having sections of the song reeat longer than they normally do.

i call this a persistent beat. i think, to me a least, it exemplifies what techno and trance is. sure it's nice to have the vocals from time but it's also great to keep it basic and fun.
of note, above and beyond did not mix or change this, it's just from trance around the world and as far as i can tell it's the clean version. it was part of Kyau & Albert's guest mix on the show.

i love ocean lab, justine sussa's voice is just incredible and then you mix her songs with above and beyond and you have magic. they really understand the whole scene and the type of music people like.

With the recent party i went to, i thought it appropriate to award this week's Trance Friday to best of show.
With the likes of Mistress Barbara, Second Sun, Dj Kal, Uppercut, Above and Beyond and Paul Van Dyk in the lineup, this was an amazing show. Then on top of that, we had an incredible light show. Not so much lazers but what was behind the dj's.

i was going to post something about this actually
Most of the music that I've been post has been from sets from Above & Beyond. If you want to hear more of their music just get their podcast. every week on saturday or sunday they have a new cast with a new set with artists from all over the world. then in the final 30 minutes of the cast they let a guest dj take over.
i doubt it's live, but you never know.
when i heard this song for the first time i had overlooked it. I was concentrating on something else, but then they put it as the intro song to #173 and thats when i really heard it. i stopped whatever i was doing and was just taken by the song.
in the trance around the world version, the intro is much shorter. with this one skip to about 1:08 through and you should be good.
