at 17:51 - 22nd, October 2008 Got this from kotaku. The demo is available online, can't get the link yet since i'm at work. I know, as soon as i saw the post i knew people would want to try it out. Better download it fast because it may get a ceise and desist from nintendo.

though there was something called tech demo. dunno if hats the one or if there was another link on the site i didn't see. Yep, you got the full thing. Just tried it out, looks pretty good

i think js made a mistake, as far as i can tell there's only a tech demo so far.
Yeah, looks like that is all it is for now. Hopefully they release the full game soon.
so played a bit, seems pretty straight forward metroid game.

within the first 5 minutes i had three or four upgrades. like it says, it's a tech demo so it's to give you an idea of what the game, weapons and enemies will be like.
