I think my videos are getting better personally. I'd like to move away from the gopro app though, use something that's as easy but with templates and music recognition to move from scene to scene during the beat. Oh, and it has to be on PC. I love my phone but these things are not made for video editing, no matter what anyone says.
This is part 1 of something that happened to me my last kite session over by the Marriott St. Kitts. Watch till the end. I'll post part 2 in the comments.

Unedited for dramatic effect.
Essentially, my chicken look - the main thing that connects to the kite, snapped and tore off. The only thing connected me to the kite was my last safety and me holding the bar in 20 knot winds. Not an easy task let me tell you.
I didn't realize what happened at first and tried to get the bar back to me to reattach the chicken loop to my hook, but when I got close enough that's when I realized.
Scary thing is, I was completely alone in a secluded part of the beach away from people and they couldn't even see my kite flapping around and going crazy.
I never felt like I was in danger, kept my board on me most of the time and even kept my gopro in the mouth.

Training is entirely necessary for this stuff otherwise it could go sideways quite fast.

The last jump wasn't even high. It's just old gear is all.
