what a goal. gionta scores the winner in OT. if i can find the goal online i'll post it.
two of my favorite guys are now out. metropolit out, o'byrne out. i wonder for how long.
first period was a mess for the canadiens, second better. third not as good but not as bad as first. over time was good, went both ways.

price was amazing yet again. if he doesn't get hurt i think he'll do great this season and with markov out, he'll need to play great. i did't realize how much of an impact markov made but without him in the lineup. the canadiens just can't seem to get the puck out of the zone without him telling them what to do.

highlights of the game:
price making 34 saves
hal gill going after someone who was punching gionta in a scrum in front of the buffalo net. made me so happy to see this. montreal rushed the buffalo net, miller stops the puck and holds on to it. group gathers in front of the net and some rough housing starts. gionta (or gomez, can't remember) starts getting some lefts to the head from a buffalo player but all the canadiens forwards are in the scrum and tied up. out of no where, gill comes from the blue line, drops the gloves and goes straight to help gionta. gets to the group and pulls the guy off gionta, like literally pulls him off gionta. was so happy to see that.
and the final goal by gionta.

an ok game with a great finish.
