S.Darko, a sequel to the cult hit Donnie Darko, now has a site that is not nearly as interesting as the original donnie darko site. he main and probably only feature of the site is a trailer. the entire site is flash so i couldn't get the embed, but didn't want to pull a crappy youtube version either.

the idea, when pitched, sounded a little silly to me. seeing the results of the pitch, it still sounds pretty silly to me. i'll probably go see it though.

Looks like a movie made by people who completely missed the point of the first one.

I could be wrong, but this really doesn't look very good.

Yep, they should of let a good thing go, Hollywood has this annoying habit of taking something good, making a terrible sequel and destroying the original. Disney is a prime example of that. Another good example is the Batman franchise, the only way to stir up excitment was to restart the whole thing. X-men 3 is another, try making a sequel out of that mistake.

xmen 3 was a lot better than the other two in my opinion. not spot on with the super heroes/ villians but the story was a lot better.

Well yeah, they made Scott Summers a total tool throughout the first two movies they had nowhere to go but up once they killed him off.

Nope I disagree, I thought the first two were great, because they were done by a true comic fan, Bryan Singer. The other guy was just a Hollywood Lacky who from what I hear had a mission to make this the last X-men movie. As for Scott Summers they had him spot on for the first one but Bitched him up for the other two.

I'm in agreement with Cliff on this one. The third X-men movie was pretty bad. It was too scatterbrained and lacked focus. Brett Ratner is fine for mainstream comedy stuff like Rush Hour, but leave the comic book stuff to people who really respect the medium, like Bryan Singer or Jon Favreau.

The first one was bizzare enough to lure you in... Now that everyone knows.... How are they going to get people to sit through it!

i don't think they're worrying about that, i think they're worrying about just getting people into the theater.
