Likewise, I loved this one, and it's so true. Still an insanely fun game, though. Emo-Power-Fantasy GO!

Masked Man Robs Convenience Stores With Klingon Sword

Clerks Recognize Sword As Batleth

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Colorado Springs police are looking for a man who hit two 7-Eleven convenience stores early Wednesday, armed with a Klingon sword.

The first robbery was reported at 1:50 a.m., at 145 N Spruce St. The clerk told police a white man in his 20s, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and wearing a black mask, entered the store with a weapon the clerk recognized from the Star Trek TV series.

The robber demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount.

A half hour later, police received a call from a 7-Eleven at 2407 N. Union Blvd., where a man matching the previous description entered the store with a similar weapon. He also demanded money from the store clerk. The clerk refused and the robber ran off.

Both clerks described the weapon as a Star Trek Klingon type sword, called a "Batleth."

Neither clerk was injured in the robberies.

Well the best part of all this is that the clerk (or who even saw the security cam) were able to identify the type of weapon...

I coudnt differentiate a klingon sword from a Q-tip..

if it was one of those authentic replica ones, I could imagine the weapon could be pretty dangerous

however, i doubt the robber was trained in klingon fighting technique hehe

Whats wrong with the world today, use a cool sword like the Master Sword if you are going to rob a store.

couldn't do it with the master sword. sword is pure good.

though that would make an awesome game. the master sword is corrupted or stolen or some such.

I have to say.. Score one for the geeks... I'm not sure who was the bigger geek.. the robber or the one who identified the sword....

i still think it's the cops who needed to do research on the weapon to label it. they clerks probably recognized it but couldn't name it.
